Delivering an Executive Search to Appoint a Visionary CEO for a Heritage Organisation in Victoria.
The Brief
Future Leadership™ was engaged by a heritage organisation in Victoria to appoint a Chief Executive Officer who could provide inspirational leadership and ensure the organisation achieved its mission. A key priority was the development and implementation of a new strategic plan focused on maintaining relevance in a changing world while remaining financially sustainable.
The organisation required a leader with a demonstrated commitment to heritage and conservation advocacy, alongside commercial or events experience. The successful candidate would need to manage diverse stakeholder relationships across government, donors, community leaders, volunteers, and national heritage bodies. Supporting and empowering a large volunteer base and building the organisation’s endowment funds were also critical components of the role.
