Darren McLeish brings to Kinross Wolaroi School a wealth of experience across education, manufacturing, transport, logistics, financial services, and aged care. With a strong people focus and proven leadership skills, Darren has demonstrated his ability to manage complex human resources and safety portfolios in diverse environments.

In his most recent role as Human Resource Manager with the Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst, Darren was responsible for staffing, contract management, induction, performance management, payroll, compliance, and union matters across 33 primary and secondary schools. His career highlights include leading domestic and international recruitment campaigns, developing and implementing comprehensive training programmes, and establishing robust HR and Work Health and Safety systems.

Darren is recognised for his inclusive and consultative communication style, his commitment to respect and empathy in the workplace, and his ability to resolve complex issues with professionalism and care. He has extensive experience in policy development, compliance auditing, payroll management, and workers’ compensation, always ensuring best practice and continuous improvement.
