The Position
Heathdale Christian College is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Student Wellbeing to lead the holistic wellbeing strategy across both the Werribee and Melton campuses. This pivotal role will oversee the integration and effectiveness of student wellbeing programs ensuring a cohesive approach to supporting the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs of students. The Director of Student Wellbeing will work collaboratively with the Learning Enhancement, Student Welfare, and Health teams, ensuring all initiatives align with the College’s mission and Christian ethos.
Reporting directly to the Executive Principal, the Director of Student Wellbeing will play a key role in driving transformational change within the College, developing and implementing strategies to support staff and student wellbeing. This role requires leadership at the executive level, with a focus on data-driven initiatives, the rollout of wellbeing programs, and the development of a unified approach to wellbeing across the school community.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to Christian principles, extensive experience in educational leadership, and a deep understanding of student wellbeing practices and policies. Exceptional organisational skills, strategic planning capabilities, and the ability to inspire and develop staff will be key to success in this role.
