As Head of Growth & Development, you’ll lead the charge in expanding our impact through strategic sales, partnerships and revenue growth. As a key member of the senior executive team, you’ll shape The Resilience Project’s future, lead a passionate team, and help deliver sustainable, purpose-driven growth across education, workplaces and communities.

About TRP

At The Resilience Project (TRP), we inspire happiness and change lives by teaching positive mental health strategies to help people be happier and more resilient.

Through education and workplace programs, podcasts, events and wellbeing resources, we share the benefits of gratitude, empathy, mindfulness and emotional literacy along with simple ways to practise these to support positive mental health.

We have delivered programs to over 1,500 schools and 1,000 workplaces around the country and worked with many elite sporting teams, including the Australian cricket, netball and soccer teams, NRL and AFL clubs.

About the role 

As Head of Growth & Development, you’ll lead the charge in expanding our reach and impact across Australia.

In this senior executive role, you’ll drive revenue growth across new and existing channels, lead a high-performing team, and build values-aligned strategic partnerships.

As part of the Executive Leadership Team, you’ll work closely with the CEO and peers to shape TRP’s future and culture – helping us grow sustainably and deliver meaningful outcomes.

 

What will you be doing? 

Growth & Development Team Leadership

  • Lead a team of four people, including one direct report.
  • Develop the annual sales strategy, set targets and be accountable for existing revenue channels.
  • Enhance sales operations, build team capabilities and drive performance to achieve goals.
  • Build commercial acumen across the team, while remaining impact-driven.

Revenue Growth

  • Identify, explore and pilot new opportunities to expand revenue, reach and impact.
  • Drive a personal revenue target through a purpose-driven approach.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver on new revenue opportunities.

 Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop a partnership strategy and support the acquisition of new strategic partnerships.
  • Manage key partnerships, including relationship management and retention.
  • Oversee and support contract delivery for all strategic partnerships.

Executive Leadership

  • Contribute to overall strategic direction and delivery of TRP’s Strategic Plan.
  • Help shape an engaged and mentally healthy team culture that is motivated to deliver impactful outcomes.
  • Manage budgets, financial forecasts and reporting for the Growth & Development Team.
  • Oversee governance, risk, compliance and drive operational efficiency.
  • Leverage data and insights for continuous improvement and impact measurement.
  • Represent TRP externally and support the CEO with key projects and initiatives.

 

About You

Our ideal candidate will also have:

  • An empathetic leadership style, fostering a positive team culture, driving staff engagement and motivating performance.
  • Proven success in meeting personal sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Experience leading a high-performing sales team, including development of sales structures, KPIs and approach.
  • Experience creating and executing strategies to boost revenue and enhance organisational sustainability.
  • Skilled in establishing and nurturing strategic, values-driven partnerships.
  • Strong financial literacy with experience developing, managing, and monitoring budgets to achieve income and sustainability targets.
