The Position

MLC School seeks an experienced human resources leader to facilitate high quality administration of all HR operational processes and practices. The Head of Human Resources is a member of the School Executive and is expected to provide expert advice and support to the Principal and Executive team and to build cooperative and collegial relationships with all members of the School community. In addition, the Head of Human Resources works with the Principal and School Executive to identify HR priorities and recommend staff management solutions in relation to organisational development, culture and change that closely align with MLC School’s vision and goals.

 

The Organisation

MLC School is an independent, nonselective Uniting Church school for girls from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 in Sydney’s inner-west. The tagline ‘dare to be more’ is not just an expression, it underpins MLC Schools goal for students and drives their approach to teaching. The highly professional staff, under the guidance of Principal Ms Lisa Moloney, challenge and encourage girls of every age to question traditional perceptions and roles of women, and notions of learning.
