The Position
Strathcona Girls Grammar seeks a highly experienced People and Culture Manager. As an active member of the College Professional Management team, this role is integral for the provision of high quality operational and strategic HR management to achieve organisational outcomes through an engaged workforce.
The role is to provide high level contemporary administrative and advisory support to promote a positive, high performing workplace culture and ensuring the ongoing development and support of team members, leaders and emerging leaders.
The People and Culture Manager reports to the Business Manager with a strong working relationship with the Dean of Teaching and Learning, and is responsible for the administration of all policies and procedures, compliance requirements and general matters relating to Human Resources in the School, including performance and talent management, recruitment, training induction, staffing support organisational design and development, performance management engagement, reward and recognition, HR Systems and industrial relations and compliance matters,
The role is critical to supporting our workforce and facilitating the HR framework and People and Culture programs within the school.
The Organisation
Strathcona is a leading girls’ school based in Canterbury catering for girls and boys in the ELC and girls only from Prep to Year 12. We have approximately 800 students with long standing, strong ties to the wider community. We are committed to providing a stimulating and enriching environment for our staff with a strong future-focused, goal orientated program. The School has three (3) campuses with the Junior and Senior Schools located in Canterbury and the Year 9 cohort is housed at the historic Tay Creggan campus in Hawthorn.
