Therese Joyce is a specialist in leadership development and wellbeing, passionate about helping others to achieve their full potential.  Her style is to ensure an evidence-based approach that is grounded and pragmatic.  With a firm belief in a shared humanity, Therese has worked with over 65 nationalities, and delivered workshops and trainings in 17 countries.  Her experience in international management and leading change includes nine years as Principal of an international school in Toronto, four years volunteering weekly with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, research with the largest NHS Trust in London, and over two decades of experience in the education sector from early childhood to university post-graduate learning. 

Her areas of expertise include resilience, mindfulness, mental health and wellbeing. Therese was previously the Associate Director of the Centre for Positive Psychology at The University of Melbourne and holds a MSc. in Applied Positive Psychology.  In 2017, Therese was an invited guest of the Minister for Happiness at the World Government Summit in Dubai.

Therese has worked with a diverse range of corporate, education, local government and Not-For-Profit clients to help deliver creative, evidence-based practical solutions to increase employee engagement and ensure exceptional performance. With a firm commitment to practical real-world application of the science of positive psychology, her expertise lies in driving employee engagement and creating new initiatives for leadership development as well as building a high-performing culture amongst leadership teams and organisations.
