Appointed: John Rashed
Position: Head of People, Strategy and Culture

Mr John Rashed has been appointed to the position of Head of People, Strategy and Culture at CREST Education and commenced in May 2024. In this newly created role, John will contribute to shaping the organisational structure and culture of CREST Education and implementing Human Resource systems, policies and processes to support the CREST principal purpose of being a Christian school of excellence.
Most recently the Chief People Officer at Knox City Council, John has over 20 years’ experience providing advice in all areas of workplace relations including employment law, industrial relations, EBA negotiations, organisational development and learning and development programs. John is passionate about empowering people to identify and realise their strengths, navigate change, and work together as a team.
John holds a Bachelor of Business Management from Monash University, a Diploma in Management and Leadership, a Postgraduate Certificate in Arbitration from the University of Adelaide Law School and Diploma in OH&S from Holmesglen.
