Selection assessment should feel collaborative; done ‘with’
not done ‘to’.

Capability assessment is an exploration of the leader’s capability at a point in time. We use psychological assessment tools to accompany a search process and guide clients on best practices while remaining tool-agnostic.  We debrief all candidates interviewed as part of a search process, regardless of their success in that process.

Programs

Our leadership capability and development assessment programs apply to individuals, teams, and organisations.

When we partner holistically to integrate assessment into larger leadership development programs, we find the internal HR and talent acquisition leaders have the space to focus on more strategic objectives. Partners may choose to engage our advisory specialists for the full end-to-end assessment and development service or select only the specialist elements required.

The strategic leadership capability tool is underpinned by validated Hogan psychometric assessments. The mapping enables us to match the emergent operating environment to the capabilities sought in leadership teams.

Testimonials

What do our clients say about our strong validity and clear path for positive, developmental feedback?

I want to express a huge thanks for everything that you’ve done for me over the years. I think you were one of the first people to teach me about the art and science (and mostly the humanity) of leadership and to give me confidence in my own abilities. I enjoy our conversations so much and deeply value the inspiration, guidance and support that you have provided.

This was a great exercise and added a lot of value to the program. One recommendation could be to combine this with the C-Suite exercise to assess how candidates perform under real stressors. I didn’t attend the debrief session but heard positive feedback from my classmates. I would highly recommend that this is run repeatedly with MBA candidates and even as part of the core (mandatory program). It should be a selling point of the MBA that this exercise is conducted.

Highly valuable session for independently validating my own insights on how I perceive myself as well as where I feel I need improvements.

The assessment team was highly organized, kept to time and clearly had given a lot of forethought into how to structure the activities. The reports given were very clear and reflected my own thoughts very well - actually the areas identified for improvement matched very well with my own reflections and development plans, suggesting this is indeed an appropriate direction.

Highly recommended for future students and a huge compliment on top of our leadership subject. I would almost go as far to say as recommending to make this opt-out rather than opt-in, particularly to encourage students who would not naturally want to undertake a "stressful" experience without being pushed into it.

The information session, the actual assessment day, and the debriefing session for this were an extremely worthwhile experience. The CLA/Future Leadership team were extremely knowledgeable and professional, I enjoyed the sessions, and I received some invaluable feedback from it. I would definitely recommend this to all students.
