Environmental Policy
Purpose
Future Leadership Pty Ltd and its controlled entities (Future Leadership) seeks to improve sustainability by valuing environmental, social, and economic considerations in its decision making.
Future Leadership is committed to pursuing a high standard of environmental management and has implemented an Environmental Management System (EMS) to support its policy of continual improvement of environmental performance, the efficient use of resources, and the minimisation or prevention of pollution.
Policy Statement
The environmental principles and practices are as follows:
- Embedding environmental considerations into business decisions and processes.
- Create a culture and environment where every team member is personally committed to managing impacts to the environment.
- Monitoring and managing its environmental performance and working towards targets set to reduce adverse impacts.
- Complying with relevant Australian Commonwealth, State and Local environmental policy, practices, regulations and legislation, and industry-specific legislation, and where these do not exist, apply appropriate internal standards.
- Reducing the consumption of resources in daily operations, including water, energy and other consumables.
- Maximising the recycling of resources.
- Disposing of waste appropriately, including e-waste at designated e-waste centres.
- Committing to the principles of preventing pollution to the environment and continual improvement.
- Minimising pollution by taking steps to limit carbon emissions resulting from vehicle and air travel.
- Where possible, encouraging suppliers to meet high standards of environmental performance.
- Communicating this policy to all team members, associates and other stakeholders, as well as making this policy available as requested.
- Reporting on the firm’s environmental performance in both internal and external communications.
- Reviewing this policy annually and measuring targets and performance as part of that review.
