The Brief
The Process
The Principal role was defined as both Chief Executive and educational leader, reporting directly to the Board and overseeing the implementation of policies, regulations, and operational programs. Supported by a leadership team—including three Assistant Principals (Faith, Wellbeing, Teaching & Learning), a Primary Coordinator, and a Business Manager—the Principal was expected to guide the College in delivering high-quality education within a safe Islamic environment. This position offered a unique opportunity to shape the future of the College, enhance its holistic education model, and build future capabilities for students.
To deliver this appointment, Future Leadership™ undertook a comprehensive executive search process. This included conducting an in-depth briefing with the Governing Board to clarify strategic priorities and leadership expectations, developing a detailed candidate profile aligned to the College’s Islamic ethos and growth objectives, and mapping the talent market to identify high-caliber leaders in faith-based education. Future Leadership™ leveraged its networks and research capability to approach prospective candidates, managed a rigorous assessment process including competency-based interviews and cultural alignment evaluations, and provided the Board with a shortlist of exceptional candidates. Throughout the process, Future Leadership™ ensured transparency, stakeholder engagement, and a strong focus on securing a Principal who could lead the College into its next phase of growth while maintaining its values and commitment to academic excellence.
