The Brief
The Board of a state-wide specialist support organisation approached Future Leadership to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organisation in providing services that support women from migrant and refugee backgrounds, their families, and communities.
The organisation had experienced rapid growth, including new funding post a significant governmental commission. With ongoing financial viability as a key priority, the Board sought a CEO who could drive revenue diversification. Additionally, culture renewal was a key priority, and the Board was looking for a contemporary and inspirational leader. For some Board members, this was their first time undertaking a CEO search, so it was crucial that the search partner was highly communicative at every juncture.

The Process
Future Leadership conducted comprehensive briefings with each Board member to gain clarity around the challenges and opportunities facing the organisation and to build a profile of the ideal candidate.
The search involved a national campaign, with input from trusted partners who had collaborated with Future Leadership on previous assignments.
