The Process

Whilst the Future Leadership team held an existing understanding of the College, a detailed in person briefing was undertaken with the Board Chair and members of the Selection Committee in order to develop a strong understanding of the Board’s desired outcome and profile of the successful candidate.

A full timeline for the search was confirmed and provided to the Selection Committee post the briefing, including milestones for long list discussion, panel interviews psychometric assessment and referencing of the preferred candidate.

Liz Jones led every aspect of the search and maintained regular contact with the Board Chair, allowing for calibration of candidates during the search phase and exchange of information at all key points in the process. Future Leadership supported the first round of interviews in our office and coordinated three candidates for second round interviews on site at the College. This process included a presentation by the candidates, a School Tour and social engagement with key staff.
