The Brief
A leading education establishment in Perth partnered with Future Leadership to design and deliver the LeadHER Leadership Development Program, aimed at strengthening leadership capability across its middle and senior leadership teams. The program was tailored to the colleges strategic priorities and cultural context, with a focus on developing authentic, accountable, and change-ready leaders.
The initiative sought to:
- Build a shared leadership language across the college.
- Equip participants with core leadership competencies including self-awareness, strategic thinking, and performance leadership.
- Support leaders in navigating complex educational environments and leading with confidence and clarity.

The Process
The LeadHER program was delivered over eight months and included:
- Four core workshops: Leading Self, Leading Others, Leading Across the Organisation, and Graduation & Learning Review.
- Three coaching circles to embed learning and foster peer accountability.
- Facet5 personality profiling to deepen self-awareness and team dynamics.
- Interactive learning: Fireside chats, keynote speakers, group reflection, and scenario-based exercises.
The program was framed within the Future Leadership Capability Framework and aligned with the colleges leadership strategy. It was delivered in a hybrid format, combining in-person and virtual sessions to maximise accessibility and engagement.
