Future Leadership is delighted to announce the appointment of Brayden Stone as the next Principal of Southern Cross Grammar.

Brayden is a highly experienced educational leader with over a decade of executive leadership across Foundation to Year 12 settings, including prior roles as Principal and Deputy Principal. He brings a proven track record of guiding schools through transformative growth, strategic renewal, and the development of inclusive, future-focused learning cultures.

Currently serving as Director of the Ivanhoe Institute, Brayden leads strategic initiatives across a multi-campus environment, driving professional learning, instructional leadership, and community partnerships. His work reinforces contemporary, evidence-based educational practice and system-wide impact.

Brayden is deeply aligned with Southern Cross Grammar’s vision to nurture individual student strengths within a high-performing, values-led context. His leadership at St Augustine’s College was marked by the successful unification of primary and secondary campuses, the introduction of a one-school model, and the implementation of strategic frameworks in pedagogy, wellbeing, and community engagement—all underpinned by collaborative leadership and data-informed decision making.

Brayden is particularly energised by SCG’s commitment to courageous leadership, innovation, and the celebration of diversity and community. He is a relational leader whose approach is grounded in integrity, visibility, and authentic collaboration. His deep belief that schools thrive when every voice is valued and every member of the community is empowered to contribute has consistently delivered strong outcomes and enduring school pride.
