
Kerrie Mahon has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network and commenced on 10 February 2025. In this position, Kerrie will ensure the continued delivery of a comprehensive and sustainable health service, enhancing the well-being of individuals, families and communities.
Kerrie is also currently a Non-Executive Director on the Board of the Brisbane South Primary Health Network and brings expertise in leadership of complex health and human services, as well as corporate governance, strategy, risk management, clinical governance and research.
Kerrie presents as an experienced CEO and executive with 30 years in leadership and management in healthcare and human services. Across the breadth of her career Kerrie has led teams to deliver innovative and sustainable services in hospitals, community health and human services, aged care, and disability services.
Key appointments in Kerrie’s career include leading the Metro North Hospital and Health Service (located in Brisbane), one of the largest health services in Australia, as both Interim CEO and Chief Operating Officer. She was also the CEO for Montrose Therapy and Respite services, a large specialist allied health NFP provider and remained as Executive Advisor post a merger. Kerrie most recently held the position of Deputy Chief Executive with the Department of Health and Wellbeing SA where she led statewide clinical system improvements.
