Karen Weston has been appointed in the role of Chief Executive Officer at Gowrie Victoria at the end of January this year. For 85 years, Gowrie Victoria has been at the forefront of high-quality early learning.  It is a purpose-driven, not-for-profit organisation with a reputation for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care services, translating policy and theory into practice, and for shining a light on best practice.

As the new Chief Executive Officer, Karen will design and implement organisational strategy, lead and manage growth, while simultaneously continuing to drive the development of culture and quality improvement by embedding exemplary standards of leadership and management across the organisation.

Karen brings strong and accomplished Chief Executive experience in education. A skilled and experienced reformer (policy development through to implementation) and values driven, reflective leader who models professionalism.
