Future Leadership is delighted to announce the appointment of Marianna Oklander as Director of Business Operations at Rossbourne School.
Marianna brings over two decades of experience in financial and operational leadership across education, health, and not-for-profit sectors. She is a qualified CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from RMIT, graduating with Distinction, as well as a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Swinburne University. Her career is marked by a commitment to strategic excellence, compliance, and values-driven service delivery.
Prior to joining Rossbourne School, Marianna served as Business Manager at River Nile School, where she led finance, administration, facilities, HR, and IT services, and was a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Her contributions included a school-wide cyber security audit, a multi-campus acquisition and relocation process, and a comprehensive workforce planning review. She played a pivotal role in driving financial sustainability and operational efficiency while supporting a diverse student community.
Her previous roles include senior financial positions at the Australian Childhood Foundation, Vision Australia, the Victorian Association for the Teaching of English, and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. Across these organisations, Marianna has led audits, managed budgets, implemented system upgrades, and provided strategic advice to boards and executive teams.
Marianna is known for her collaborative leadership, strategic thinking, and high standards of professionalism. Her expertise in governance, compliance, and continuous improvement aligns closely with the needs of Rossbourne School as we look to the future.
