Mr Paul Gregersen has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer of Mayflower and commenced on 1 July 2025. In this position, Paul will help position Mayflower as a leader in aged care excellence, while maintaining the warmth, personal connection and community spirit that are central to the organisation’s identity.

Paul brings more than 35 years of senior leadership experience, including 25 years in the healthcare and aged care sectors. He has held executive roles in both for-purpose and corporate organisations, with leadership responsibilities across Australia and internationally. Paul has experience across a full spectrum of services — from health funding to primary care, hospitals, and aged care — and is passionate about improving the quality of life for older Australians.

His extensive experience includes the successful development of 23 new aged care homes and the integration of more than 50 services into existing portfolios. His strategic and operational expertise has supported more than $2 billion in healthcare investments over his career. In addition, Paul has contributed to national aged care policy reform, serving as an expert member of the Aged Care Financing Authority, appointed by the Hon. Mark Butler, Minister for Aged Care.
