Mr Tim Bullard has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) and will commence on 21st October 2024. Tim will join AITSL from the Department for Education, Children and Young People in Tasmania, where he is currently Secretary.
For the past 2 decades, Tim has worked across the Tasmanian Government in key policy roles for the Department of Premier and Cabinet and the Department of Education. In March 2018, he was appointed Secretary of the Department of Education and has since been appointed as Secretary of the Department for Education, Children and Young People, leading the Department’s commitment to support all children and young people to have bright lives and positive futures.
