Ms. Belinda Brookes has been appointed to the position of Executive Director Strategy, Performance and Allied Health with West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG) and commenced on 17 November 2025. In this position, Belinda is responsible for leading and overseeing the Allied Health portfolio and strategic planning and delivery, corporate governance and risk, continuous improvement and partnerships.
With over 25 years of clinical, operational and strategic experience across the health sector, Belinda brings a track record in setting strategic direction, building a strong culture of continuous improvement and fostering collaborative partnerships across the system to enhance community outcomes and experiences.
Belinda joined WGHG after spending five years with Austin Health in the positions of Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer (Interim) and Director Service Improvement. Prior to that, she held positions with Alfred Health, including Manager Business and Strategy and Manager Caulfield Community Health Service.
