Ms Eithne Irving has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons

Ms Eithne Irving has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, commencing on 3 March 2025. In this position she will be responsible for the overall strategic, operational, and financial management of the College.

Eithne is a committed executive with over 20 years’ experience working across the health sector. Originally commencing her professional career as a Registered Nurse, Eithne has spent the past 15 years in leadership roles. She brings strength in shaping strategy, innovating and delivering continuous improvement.

Eithne brings a wealth of expertise to this role, with extensive experience in media and public affairs, government and stakeholder relations, advocacy, and policy development. As Deputy CEO at Australian Dental Association, Eithne’s leadership and experience uniquely position her to further the College’s mission of advancing education to achieve optimal and equitable oral health and care.
