Ms Kristy Grady was appointed as Executive Director – Education & Research at the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) and commenced on Monday 28 October 2024. In this pivotal role, Kristy will spearhead the development and execution of contemporary educational strategies, ensuring sustainable resourcing of the College’s education initiatives. Her leadership will drive innovation and maintain ANZCA’s position at the forefront of contemporary education in the field of anaesthesia.
With more than two decades of expertise in education strategy, design, and governance, Kristy has an outstanding track record across leading membership organisations. She brings deep proficiency in postgraduate education, accreditation, and assessment, honed during her 15+ years of managing the full educational offering at the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), including both the professional development offering and the prestigious Specialisation Training Program, as well as her stewardship of the CPA Program at CPA Australia.
In her most recent roles, Kristy served as General Manager of Education at the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and Head of the CPA Program at CPA Australia. She led large, multi-disciplinary teams of up to 25 professionals and managed high-value supplier contracts, overseeing the strategy, accreditation, and delivery of direct entry pathways and flagship educational programs.
