Ms Louisa Rennie has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer at Mercy Education Ltd, commencing in June 2024. In this position Louisa will work closely with the Board to establish the future direction and strategic plan for Mercy Education Limited. Underpinned by the Mercy values of justice, compassion, hospitality, service, respect and courage, Louisa will continue her own commitment to faith leadership in the service of principals, schools, and young people, providing educational, cultural, strategic, financial, and organisational leadership that drives the growth and sustainability of the organisation and gives strength, support, and solidarity to member schools.

Most recently the General Manager, Leadership Development at Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools, Louisa is an experienced leader with over 25 years’ experience in education.

Louisa holds a Bachelor of Teaching from University of SA, Graduate Certificate in Religious Education from Australian Catholic University, Graduate Certificate in Language and Literacy from University of SA, Graduate Certificate in Instructional Leadership from University of Melbourne, Master in Leadership from University of Melbourne and has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course.
