Mr Scott McKay has been appointed to the position of Non-executive Director with the National Intermodal Corporation, commencing in August 2024. In this position, Scott will play a crucial role in supporting the long-term vision, values and purpose of the organisation to enhance sustainable organisational success. Scott is a senior advisor and consultant to large organisations across Australia, and has served as Board Director, Deputy Chair and Chair on a range of industry groups, and will bring his expertise in transport and intermodal sector strategy and governance to his role as Non-executive Director.

Scott is a senior supply chain, intermodal and transport leader, with strong management and advisory experience across the private and public sectors. He has an excellent knowledge of warehousing, trucking, shipping and railway management and strategy. Scott is a Charted Accountant, and has an educational and early career background in finance, accounting, audit and operational leadership

Scott is currently the Principal of Flywheel Advisory, a boutique Supply Chain Management and infrastructure firm that offers advisory services to the transport, resource and agriculture sectors. He is also the Chair of the Board with Tactic, and Deputy Chair of Regional Development Australia Far North. Scott has previously served as CEO of Bowman’s Rail, and headed Aurecon’s engineering advisory group as Principal.
