
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Coghlan as the Director of Student Wellbeing at Heathdale Christian College.
Anthony is a passionate educational leader driven by his pursuit of excellence, compassionate systems and relationships, all underpinned by the principles of faith. His experience implementing wellbeing programs across multiple schools and sectors Known for his high support and high expectations, Anthony brings a collaborative, relational, and practical leadership style to his work—creating opportunities for mentorship, system improvement, and whole-school culture change.
Throughout his career, Anthony has successfully implemented wellbeing programs from the ground up, including the development of systems, staff training, and community engagement strategies. His strategic and future-focused approach strongly aligns with Heathdale Christian College’s 2020–2035 Strategic Directions, which emphasise faith, service, and holistic excellence in Christian education.
Most recently, Anthony played a central role in the implementation of Restorative Practices at Luther College and Positive Education at Brighton Grammar School—demonstrating his ability to adapt frameworks to the unique needs of school communities.
With his depth of experience and commitment to the flourishing of students and staff, Anthony is well positioned to lead the next phase of wellbeing at Heathdale Christian College.
