New Procurement Team at Victoria’s Fastest Growing Council
Join a newly established team that has been set up to drive best practice procurement and contract management at City of Casey. The team will help uplift contract management and procurement capability, streamline systems, and build strong supplier and stakeholder partnerships. This team will have a full-time Senior Contract Management Specialist (Band 8) and two full-time Contract Management Business Partners (Band 6). About the roles
Senior Contract Management Specialist (Band 8) x 1
Salary range: $130,497 – $146,231 base + Superannuation
The Senior Contract Management Specialist will lead the implementation and ongoing improvement of the Contract Management Framework, build organisation-wide capability through training and guidance, and manage relationships with strategic suppliers and internal stakeholders.
This role provides insights to enhance supplier performance, manage risk, and deliver greater value, while supervising and mentoring a small team of contract professionals. Additionally, the Specialist acts as a key advisor and escalation point for complex contractual matters.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capability, with the ability to interpret and apply contract documents and legal or commercial terms. A legal qualification from a reputable tertiary institute is essential for this role
Contract Management Business Partner (Band 6) x 2
Salary range: $99,920 – $108,913 base + Superannuation
Contract Management Business Partners support the organisation in the day-to-day management of contracts, ensuring systems are maintained, compliance is achieved, and risk is managed. They help deliver training, enable consistent practices, and support the full contract lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to implement contract management plans, maintaining accurate contract data in the contract management system, and managing contract extensions, variations, claims, and close-out processes.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience of proactive business partnering and building strong supplier and stakeholder relationships to support performance and risk management.
