The Position
As Independent Schools NSW continues to grow, they are seeking two passionate Education Consultants – Wellbeing to join their Student Services portfolio.
As an Education Consultant, you will lead meaningful wellbeing and anti-bullying initiatives, guiding school leaders through strategic conversations that foster whole-school approaches. You will design and facilitate high-quality professional learning for staff, focusing on wellbeing frameworks, social-emotional learning, and positive classroom practices. This role is central to strengthening student wellbeing and inclusive education across the independent school sector.
Your expertise will be called upon to provide responsive support to schools on a wide range of student matters, including academic, behavioural, and mental health needs, and you will facilitate attendance planning processes and contribute to strategic projects across the Student Services portfolio.
The ideal candidate will hold undergraduate education qualifications and post-graduate qualifications in wellbeing or leadership, with recent experience in a school-based leadership role, preferably in wellbeing. Comprehensive knowledge of the Australian Student Wellbeing Framework and relevant legislation is essential.
