The Position
John XXIII College is seeking a Head of Middle Years who is an innovative and collaborative leader, committed to fostering academic excellence and student wellbeing for Years 7 to 9.
The Head of Middle Years is a key member of the College Executive, the Secondary Leadership, and the Academic Leadership Team, responsible for leading and overseeing the academic and pastoral development of students in Years 7 to 9.
The Head of Middle Years is a pivotal leadership role focused on supporting students through the foundational stages of secondary education, ensuring a smooth transition from primary school and fostering a strong sense of wellbeing, academic growth, and belonging.
The Head of Middle Years works collaboratively with staff, students, and families to implement programs that support student achievement, leadership development, and engagement.
The ideal candidate will be a visible and supportive presence in the school community, committed to nurturing the whole child and building strong relationships with students, staff, and families during this formative phase of secondary education.
