The Position
John XXIII College is seeking a Head of Senior Years who is an innovative and collaborative leader, committed to fostering academic excellence and student wellbeing for Years 10 to 12.
The Head of Senior Years is a pivotal leadership position, entrusted with the strategic and day-to-day oversight of the academic achievement, wellbeing, and leadership formation of students in Years 10 to 12. As a key member of the College Executive, Secondary Leadership, and Academic Leadership teams, they contribute to the overall direction of the College while leading initiatives specific to the senior phase of learning.
The Head of Senior Years is instrumental in shaping a cohesive and supportive senior secondary experience, one that balances academic rigour with personal development, and prepares students for meaningful post-school pathways.
The Head of Senior Years works collaboratively with students, families, staff, and leadership colleagues to ensure that every student is known, challenged, and supported to realise their full potential
