The Position
As the Service Manager for Carer Gateway NSW 2, you will lead a committed team to deliver best-practice services across metropolitan, regional, and rural communities. Reporting to the General Manager of Carer Gateway Services, you will shape the future of carer support by embedding Wellways’ values, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and driving service excellence. This is a rare opportunity to combine strategic oversight with hands-on leadership in a role that impacts thousands of carers.
This role involves leading a high-performing, values-driven team while developing and executing strategies that address community needs and align with funding priorities. Building strong partnerships with government, health networks, and community organisations will amplify impact, while driving program innovation and identifying opportunities for service growth is an integral part of this role.
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with a strong track record in business development and service innovation, a deep understanding of government policies, carer reforms, and the social model of health. Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills complemented by technical proficiency and the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making are integral to this role.
