The Position

The Head of Teaching and Learning (P–12) will provide strategic leadership in the design, implementation, and ongoing refinement of a rigorous, evidence-informed curriculum from Prep to Year 12. This role will work closely with the Head of Junior School Curriculum to ensure alignment and coherence across all year levels.

Grounded in the science of learning, the Head of Teaching and Learning (P–12) will ensure that teaching programs are research-based, data-informed, and aligned with best practices, with a strong emphasis on explicit instruction. Collaboration with Heads of Department and the Head of Junior School Curriculum will be essential to delivering high-quality curriculum and assessment practices.

Additionally, this role will lead curriculum evaluation processes to ensure coherence, progression, and responsiveness to student needs. The Head of Teaching and Learning (P–12) will contribute to whole-school improvement and academic excellence and will participate in Head of Department meetings.
