Future Leadership is delighted to announce the appointment of Amie Clark as Director of Teaching, Learning and Professional Practice (P-12) at Arndell Anglican College.
Amie brings over two decades of experience in independent education, including 15 years as Head of Department across leading Catholic and faith-based schools. Her career has been grounded in Christian education, with a deep commitment to fostering both academic excellence and Christ-like character in students. Amie’s leadership is defined by a strong focus on personal and professional growth, and she is adept at applying contemporary educational research to drive improvement. She has successfully implemented new syllabus documents, integrated the principles of Cognitive Load Theory and the Science of Learning into programmes, and embedded visible thinking strategies that enhance student agency and engagement.
Amie is passionate about building teacher capability and a culture of professional collaboration. In addition to her responsibilities as an instructional leader, she has contributed to coaching programmes that refine and improve teacher capacity, designed and delivered targeted professional learning, led school-wide technology integration, and supported staff through NESA accreditation. Her approach is grounded in servant leadership, aligning with Arndell’s Leadership Model and Teaching and Learning Framework.
Faith has been integral to Amie’s work in education, and she values the opportunity to apply a Christian lens to curriculum and pastoral care, ensuring learning is both rigorous and purpose-driven. Inspired by Arndell’s vision to shape students to live with purpose in God’s world, Amie is honoured to contribute to the College’s strategic and spiritual mission.
Future Leadership congratulates Amie Clark on this well-deserved appointment and looks forward to her positive impact at Arndell Anglican College.
