Managing full business operations including driving revenue streams
The Brief
Since December 2018 the Future Leadership team has developed a strong relationship with this health organisation, undertaking the processes to appoint a number of key executive positions, including Director Medical Services, Deputy Director Medical Services and General Manager Human Resources.
On the basis of this experience Future Leadership was subsequently engaged by the organisation to complete the search for a General Manager, Operations, based in NSW. Key to the successful appointment was identifying candidates that were not only exceptional operational leaders but had the capacity and experience to grow revenue for the business.
The Process
Future Leadership™ undertook a comprehensive search process tailored to the organisation’s needs.
The organisation sought candidates with credibility and experience operating in a large and complex hospital environment to support the existing experienced team. The appointed candidate would need to be commercially savvy, take the initiative to identify and action business opportunities for growth, and demonstrate higher order leadership skills. Leading and managing the operations for the hospital was paramount for success in the role.
The Outcome
Future Leadership undertook a swift and targeted search process, identifying a highly qualified and experienced candidate. While located in Melbourne at the time of their appointment, they were open to relocating to Sydney and were excited by the opportunities the position offered.
