The Process
The search was led by Future Leadership consultants, who approached senior leaders in disability, aged care, and home care organisations across Australia.
This targeted approach was supported by online advertising. It was identified to be essential for the successful incumbent to be an experienced, strategic executive who is inspirational, inclusive, collaborative and driven by the organisations mission. The scope for impact in this role is significant and required a leader who was experienced working at an enterprise level and translating and clarifying strategic vision.
Following the initial briefing provided by the CEO and the Executive Director, People & Culture, thorough research was conducted by the Future Leadership team. The focus of the research was on high calibre candidates with relevant experience gained in aged care, health, disability, FACS and closely aligned organisations. The Future Leadership team conducted comprehensive interviews with a range of candidates which led to a shortlist of candidates being presented to the selection panel for discussion.
