The Brief

Following the appointment of a new CEO, the charity organisation conducted a review of its structure to align with budget requirements. This resulted in two executive roles being made redundant.

Both executives had significant tenure with the organisation and were unprepared for the structural changes. Future Leadership was engaged to provide outplacement services to support their transition into new roles.

The Process

Future Leadership partnered with the organisation to provide tailored one-on-one coaching for the executives.

A senior coach worked with both executives individually to help them process the change and transition positively. The coach helped the executives craft and manage the messages they delivered internally and to the external market. The coach supported the executives to quickly move through the range of emotions they felt, to transition to a positive and forward thinking mindset.

The executives were then able to see this change as an opportunity for them to stop, reflect and plan the next stage in their career.

Using a variety of assessments and tools, each  identified their personal goals and values, and what impact they wanted to make in the world. We then identified their unique value proposition and created job search collateral such as CV, LinkedIn profile & a networking list.

The executives decided on different career pathways.
