The Brief
A not-for-profit disability support agency were seeking a new Chief Executive Officer to lead a diverse, skilled and enthusiastic team and drive a people focused culture of quality and innovation, underpinned by authenticity and integrity.
The incoming CEO would champion a focus of supporting and meeting the needs of people with a disability to live life to the fullest. The organisation required a dynamic leader who could bring a fresh thinking and perspective to drive and take ownership of the organisation. The Future Leadership team met with the Acting Chair and Board Director to astatine further information regarding the role and provide the organisation information regarding the Future Leadership search process.

The Process
Supported by an advertising campaign, Future Leadership conducted a thorough search which targeted relevant senior strategic leaders within the not-for-profit and broader NDIS space.
Post three weeks of advertising and comprehensive search, the Future Leadership team presented the organisation with a longlist consisting of eight proven leaders from multiple states across Australia and an additional three candidates that could be of interest to the agency. In the longlist meeting the Future Leadership team would touch on each candidate and discuss their findings from their preliminary interviews.
Four candidates progressed to panel interviews which were hosted at the Future Leadership office.

After careful deliberation, the organisation was delighted to offer the shortlisted candidate the position of Chief Executive Officer.
They are a commercially focused and innovative executive with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and strong brand/marketing experience, they bring over 20 years’ experience developing and leading community-supporting organisations and teams.
