Delivering an Interim Executive Solution to Stabilise Governance and Financial Performance for a Regional Health Network in Victoria

Health Regional

The Brief

Future Leadership™ was engaged by a regional health network in Victoria operating multiple hospitals and aged care facilities to appoint an Interim Chief Executive Officer.
The organisation faced a governance and financial crisis following the sudden departure of its long-serving CEO. Cost overruns, workforce fatigue, and uncertainty across services were eroding confidence in the organisation’s future. The Board required an interim leader to stabilise operations, restore financial discipline, and rebuild trust across clinical teams, unions, and the local community.
