The Position

Cranbrook School is seeking a Deputy Head of Senior School, Academics who will have significant expertise and experience in managing teaching and learning within a school setting.

The Deputy Head of Senior School, Academics is a member of the School Executive and of the Senior Leadership Team of the Senior School. They will be required to work with other Deputies and members of the Senior Leadership Team as required to keep them informed of initiatives and progress, and to collaborate where beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of legislation, regulation and the practices of relevant bodies including NESA and the IB. Their approach to pedagogy will be aligned with the school culture and values.

The Head of Senior School, Academics is responsible for the academic policy and programming, assessment and reporting, quality of teaching and learning, and student academic growth and performance within the Senior School.
