The Position

Peninsula Grammar School seeking a visionary and innovative leader for the position of Deputy Principal.  This executive leadership position is pivotal in driving academic excellence, fostering student growth and engagement, and shaping a strategic, sustainable future for the Peninsula Grammar community.

The Deputy Principal is the most senior deputy to the Principal and plays a key role in the overall leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day management of the School. As a member of the Senior Executive, the Deputy Principal works closely with the Principal and collaborates with the School Executive to ensure the effective organisation, planning, and delivery of the School’s programs, operations, and activities.

The role is multifaceted – strategic, collegial, and operational, and requires a high level of oversight and coordination across all aspects of school life. The Deputy Principal provides leadership to staff, ensures consistency and alignment across the School’s priorities, and actively upholds and promotes its values, mission, and vision.

The purpose of the Deputy Principal role is to support the Principal, together with the Senior Executive, to lead and manage the School effectively, ensuring that the strategic vision and ethos of the School are embedded into all aspects of school life.
