The Position
Loreto Kirribilli is seeking to appoint a visionary and innovative leader for the position of Head of Senior School. This is a pivotal executive role, responsible for shaping the educational journey and wellbeing of students and staff in Years 7–12. As a key member of the School Executive, the Head of Senior School provides strategic, operational, and inspirational leadership, championing the School’s unwavering commitment to excellence in girls’ education. The Head of Senior School at Loreto Kirribilli plays a vital role in leading a holistic approach to learning and wellbeing, directly supporting the Principal in delivering the School’s strategic vision. This position balances compassionate care with high expectations to nurture confident, resilient, and capable young women prepared for the challenges of a rapidly changing world. A strong background in student wellbeing is essential. The role also encompasses academic care, requiring candidates to be accomplished educators with a proven record of academic success. Data literacy is critical; the Head must interpret trends and lead others in using data to inform practice and improve outcomes. Loreto Kirribilli is an independent Catholic school for girls from Kindergarten to Year 12 with an enrolment of over 1,100 students.
