Jo Fisher is the founding Partner and Director of Future Leadership, and the visionary of Fisher Leadership Executive Search. Over almost two decades the firm has grown to become Australia and New Zealand’s most trusted and successful team of executive search, interim management and HR consultants partnering with leaders and organisations who seek to make a positive impact.

The Future Leadership team continue to find and foster diverse and exceptional talent for Board, CEO and senior executive roles, as well as combining advanced digital technologies with proven proprietary methodologies to enable more effective assessment, appointment and ongoing development of successful leaders at all levels.

Jo Fisher is a champion of positive psychology as a key to success in the ever changing and increasingly agile leadership landscape of the future. Her own success as a leader has been built on the ability to attract outstanding specialists who share her passion for supporting socially positive outcomes and working as mutually supportive team members. Jo has long been recognised as a leading advocate for the importance of diversity in leadership. She has been honoured with the prestigious international AESC Lifetime Achievement Award for impact and excellence in executive search, the only Australian to have received this Award globally. She is an Australian committee member with the International Women’s Forum, a former Telstra Business Women’s Award Winner, and an Adjunct Professor with Deakin University. More broadly, Jo’s commitment to supporting socially positive leadership outcomes is reflected in her role as Board Director of the social enterprise, Infoxchange.

Her qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (Deakin); a Master of Applied Positive Psychology (Melbourne); and Graduate Certificate in Management (Deakin). She is also a Graduate and Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and is an Accredited Strengths Profile Practitioner.  Presently she is undertaking a PhD focused on executive careers of the future.
