Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Operations will hold enterprise‑level accountability across operations, supply chain, logistics, collections and processing, facilities, licensing and site readiness. The Head of Operations will uphold a safety‑first culture and support operational leaders to build capability, embed KPIs, performance dashboards and accountability rhythms.  The role will also significantly contribute to enterprise risk management, governance and business continuity planning

Key areas of focus will include:

  • manufacturing scale up and technology transfer
  • integrating new equipment and embedding transferred processes
  • underpinning the launch of advanced biomaterial products
  • carriage of supply chain robustness and compliance with GMP, ISO 13485, ISO 22442 and relevant regulatory frameworks,
  • supporting TGA‑aligned expectations and robust QMS oversight in close partnership with Quality.

With proven experience within a highly regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, pharmaceutical, chemical, food or related), the successful candidate will be an inspirational leader who is driven to enhance operational excellence and a culture that is collaborative, team oriented and one where staff feel empowered and connected to the mission of Maverick Bio.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • expertise as a leader of leaders
  • experience building organisational capability and cultural alignment through coaching and mentoring
  • previous experience with lean principles (essential)
  • demonstrated success in leading multi-function operations with measurable outcomes
  • a strong track record of driving projects to successful delivery in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • deep knowledge of WHS, ISO and QMS compliance frameworks
  • tertiary qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, operations or a related field (essential)

Those seeking to make a lasting impact on product integrity, operational performance, leadership capability and global supply‑chain readiness will find this opportunity both enriching and deeply rewarding. If you are ready to lead transformation in a values-driven, lifesaving industry we would love to hear from you.
