The Brief

Future Leadership partnered with a leading business school that offers an 18-month Global Executive MBA program emphasising contemporary business and organisational challenges, which develops the leadership mindset and managerial competencies of its participants. ​

Future Leadership collaborated to design and implement an assessment centre aimed at evaluating students on six key leadership capabilities that are highly sought after in today’s competitive market. The program was designed to provide students with an awareness of their leadership strengths and areas for development, equipping them with insight to assist them in their future careers.

The Process

Future Leadership designed a bespoke assessment centre as follows:

  • Design the assessment centre activities aligned to Future Leadership’s Global Capability Framework and incorporate psychometrics to identify students’ areas of alignment. The tools include:
  • Hogan HPI
  • Values in Action Inventory of Strengths
  • Facilitate two Fireside Chats with Future Leadership consultants to explore current market trends and offer guidance on effective job preparation strategies.
  • Execute the assessment centre followed by providing the participants with development reports.
  • Post program evaluation

The Outcome

A tailored assessment centre was delivered to 23 students, followed by a group debrief to discuss their reports and insights.
