A national advertising campaign was undertaken along with highly targeted search process supported by proactive market research to tap into optimal pools of passive candidates and the extensive Future Leadership database to ensure the best appointable candidate. Future Leadership engaged with people from a broad cross section of environmental, scientific and conservation organisations in the process.
From a talent pool of 110+ potential candidates, a longlist of eight high calibre candidates was presented to the Selection Panel, of which six were interviewed.
The Outcome
A successful candidate was appointed and commenced with the organisation in mid 2023. Bringing expertise in executive leadership, strategic focus and financial and stakeholder management having worked with several related government departments.
