A regional health service appointed its first-time CEO in 2023. The board recognised the importance of providing support to ensure the new leader’s successful transition into the role.

Future Leadership was engaged to deliver a tailored CEO coaching program, focusing on technical leadership, cultural transformation, and confidence-building to position the organisation for a more agile and positive future.

The Process

Future Leadership collaborated closely with the CEO and HR Director to design a tailored coaching program. The process included:

  • Conducting initial consultations to identify leadership needs and objectives.
  • Designing and facilitating coaching circles to encourage collaboration and shared learning.
  • Providing one-on-one coaching to address individual development goals.
  • Supporting ongoing evaluation and feedback to ensure sustained progress.

The Outcome

The CEO felt valued and supported in their new role.  They were able to discuss how to interact with the board, how to position change and how to create a shift in organisational culture to be more future focused, agile and positive.

Future Leadership also worked with the leadership team via small coaching and learning workshops. The outcome was the board, the executive team, the leadership team and the staff all saw tangible positive culture shifts.

Positive feedback was provided to Future Leadership via the CEO and from the Executive. The CEO reported an increase in confidence, capability and engagement.
