Chief Executive Officer to lead an iconic consumer-centred services organisation and shape growth
The Brief
With a history dating back more than 100 years and a reputation of being a national leader in the delivery of wide-ranging and high-quality services for people with disability, a disability services agency approached Future Leadership in November 2020 to assist in the search of their next CEO.
Key priorities for the organisation included improved service delivery and easy access to its customers; growth in new and existing markets; maintaining and evolving a strong brand and reputation; maintaining quality and safety and developing an engaged, customer focused, responsive workforce. The executive team were also in the process of developing the new strategic plan to shape the future growth and success of the organisation.

The Process

The search process was supported by an online and print media advertising campaign in The Saturday Age and The Australian newspapers. Following initial calibrations with Yooralla on the candidate field we undertook extensive candidate assessment and interviews. A Longlist Report was presented to the selection committee on seven qualified candidates across the not for profit, public and private sectors, with five chosen for first round panel interview.
