The Process
Undertaking its work through a range of commitments including:

- encouraging investment in housing, particularly in the social or affordable housing sector
- providing finance, grants or investments that complement, leverage or support Commonwealth, state or territory activities relating to housing
- contributing to the development of the scale, efficiency and effectiveness of the community housing sector in Australia
- assisting earlier access to the housing market by eligible home buyers
- producing housing-related research, data and insights
An exhaustive national search was conducted to explore the suitability of candidates from across the banking, property and public sectors. Multiple candidates were deemed appointable at Board interviews. The candidate appointed has a strong background in residential property development, management and investment with over 20 years’ experience spanning the private sector and community housing industry.
The Outcome
Formally Group CEO of a Tier 1 Community Housing Provider managing thousands of dwellings providing homes for many Australians.
Previous roles included General Manager and Executive Director positions where they led programs to support home ownership for lower income households. Working closely with the Board, the team and stakeholders to build on the solid foundation established by outgoing CEO.
