The Process

  • Targeted Candidate Outreach: Focusing on high-calibre candidates from public and private hospitals, health services, and medical institutions across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Professional Network and Advertising: Leveraging networks and online platforms such as The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia and The Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators to attract qualified candidates.
  • Structured Selection Process: A rigorous process where seven candidates were shortlisted, with the top three progressing to first-round panel interviews. Two finalists advanced to a second informal meeting with the institute’s Director.
