The Brief
A federal government department sought to appoint a Commissioner to lead the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022–2032.
The Commissioner needed to be a nationally recognised leader in the social services sector, capable of spearheading the national discussion on preventing violence against vulnerable community members. The client emphasised the importance of a merit-based appointment that was sensitive to the complex stakeholder network, including community groups and state government agencies.
